Stephanie and Nick had their wedding at the Rainbow Room at the top of Rockefeller Center in New York City! I love this venue for the elegance, MASSIVE ballroom with rotating dance floor, and stunning views of the NYC Skyline from 65 floors up.

I love capturing the escense of a New York City wedding like this.  My couples hire me to make sure every detail about their day is portrayed properly, and growing up in New York myself, I know how to do that perfectly for their films.  

We started off the day at Lotte Palace a few blocks away where Stephanie and Nick got ready and did their first look in the hotel's courtyard.  The Photographer (Lauren Spinelli) and I took this opportunity to walk together to the Rainbow Room and capture shots of them crossing city streets and get those iconic visuals of them in front of the Rainbow Room sign out front.

One thing I love about weddings like this, is that I get to run into a past couple who's wedding I've filmed.  About a month before their day, I ran into Stephanie and Nick as guests at another couples wedding who they were friends with, so we got to reconnect again on this day.  That got me so excited since I got to see what type of party people they were and knew it was going to be a good time at their wedding!  I really do feel like family when that happens and it always puts a smile on my face seeing past couples of mine still just as in love and partying just as hard on the dance floor as they were when I was there on their wedding day.
