A few years ago after my father passed away, I had photos of him but that was it.  It wasn't until my sisters first birthday since he passed where she posted an audio clip of him leaving her a voicemail trying to sing Happy Birthday (he was a silly man) where I got to hear his voice again and it hit me unlike any of the photos did that I had of him.

This helped me truly realize and appreciate what I provide for my couples... a timeless family heirloom thats more immersive than just a visual.  Hearing and watching your parents, grandparents, friends, and loved ones giving their toasts to you on your wedding day is truly priceless and deserves to live somewhere more than just your memory... trust me.

Why your wedding is important to me...

Being a filmmaker and photographer since 2000, I always looked for a way to make it my profession. In 2010 I shot my first wedding and that’s all it took. Being able to make essentially “mini-movies” about a couple’s day and their story felt like a dream job, and it has been ever since.  Being motivated by the energy on a wedding day keeps me going!

I’m a tea drinker, prefer comedies even though my favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption, lived my entire life in NYC, grew up watching The Simpsons, play the drums, have been rollerblading since I was 8, and love traveling. I've been around the world a few times and I love talking with my couples about their honeymoons! If you ever need any ideas or help with that also, just let me know!

Austin

Hi, I'm

Hi, we’re Layla and Pepe!  We’ve learned a lot about editing since we spend most of our time on our dads’ desk while he’s working on your wedding films. When we’re not getting our beauty rest 20 hours a day, you can find us either sitting in our tree watching people at the bus stop, or giving high-fives for treats.  We have a love/ hate relationship but hope to get a puppy sibling one day to join in our antics.

Also… we didn’t write this, our dad did.

“Austin is not just a videographer, his work is truly one of an artist.
All my bridal party commented on how fun and energetic Austin and his team were and how they felt comfortable the whole day.
We are so unbelievably grateful to have shared our day with you, and you with us.”

I know planning a wedding can be overwhelming, which is why I like to make the process as easy as possible for you. I begin by learning about you two as a couple and what’s important to you. I’ve honed my skills in understanding challenges and working around them to ensure your day is seamless and stress-free so you can spend more time enjoying your wedding with your loved ones. With my experience, I’m happy to provide recommendations throughout your day. Let’s collaborate and transform your vision into a reality!

expertise you can trust

If you look at my reviews, most of my couples love the calming presence I provided on their day and how I seamlessly fit right in. My unobtrusive personality will assure you that you can be yourself throughout the day, and thats truly what shines in your wedding film.

A COMFORTING PRESENCE

Your wedding day can be hectic and you easily overlook so many pure moments that you’ll never get back. Being a professional filmmaker, I’m constantly on the lookout for these candid moments that you may not know even happened during your day, like your grandparents crying during your ceremony, the flower girl practicing her role before walking down the isle, or your Maid Of Honor busting a move on the dance floor. These authentic moments are what really make you want to rewatch your wedding film over and over again.

Attention To Detail

You are the best when you’re yourselves. Do your thing, you don’t have to perform for my camera, you can just be yourselves and that’s what will reflect best in your wedding film.

Authenticity

Quick Facts

My father handed me his 35mm camera on a family vacation in the late 90s, I took a picture of a cat in a tree, and that triggered everything. I expanded on that and grew up being the friend in the group who always had a camera. In the early 2000s, I edited my first videos with two VCRs hooked up to each other and dubbing in music from my boombox. I helped someone film a wedding in 2010, and knew this was what I wanted to make a career out of. I gained experience second shooting for other companies until I branched off and started Cinema-Roll Films in 2014. I’m extremely grateful for the couples who trusted me and the connections I’ve made along the way. I thank my dad every day for putting his camera in my hands that day.

A Little More...

I spent years hanging out of helicopters over New York City and other cities around the world taking photos and videos.

I could probably eat pizza every day for the rest of my life. A Diavola pizza is probably my favorite but you can never go wrong with a good New York slice.

I've been skating for almost 3 decades now, part of that time was professionally where I toured the world while photographing for magazines and producing best selling DVDs. (remember those?)

I love traveling and have been to over 30 countries and counting... Some of my favorites have been Iceland, The United Arab Emirates, and Japan.

Playing the drums is one of my favorite hobbies. I believe that music is an important part of everyones life.
